Voicemail:

To set up your voicemail: Dial 132 and follow the voice prompts.

To activate the Voicemail Diverts: Dial **004*08414 last 9 digits of your mobile #

EG:**004*08414741000123#

To cancel all Voicemail Diverts: Dial ##002#

Calls:

 Outgoing Calls: 

  • Please make sure your phone has signal 
  • Make sure you have no call-barring turned on. To find this go to: Settings> Call Settings> Call Barring
  • If you get the following errors please call us on 135 and we’ll help sort you out:
      - Service suspended
      - Account is locked 
 
Incoming calls: 
  • Please make sure your phone has signal 
  • Make sure your number is not diverted to another number by dialling: *#21*11# 
  • If there are any diverts on your number, you can cancel them by dialling: ##21*11#
  • Make sure you have no call-barring turned on. To find this go to: Settings> Call Settings> Call Barring

SMS

Outgoing SMSs 

  • Please make sure your phone has signal
  • Please make sure the SMS centre number is correct (+27741000050)
  • Alternatively, test your SIM card on other handset
 
Incoming SMSs
  • Please make sure your phone has signal
  • Delete your old SMSs to ensure your inbox isn’t full
  • Alternatively, test your SIM card on other handset

Manual Network Search

If you can’t connect to the network, try the following:

Android phones:

Menu > 
Settings > 
Wireless and networks >
Mobile networks >
Network operators >
handset will now search for available networks >
Select Virgin Mobile or Cellc >
 
 
Apple iPhone:
 
Settings >
Carrier / Mobile Data >
Mobile Network >
Slide the Automatic slider to the off position to start scanning for networks >
Select Virgin Mobile or Cellc >
