Choose a cell phone . Choose your airtime. We'll bill you by monthly debit order. If you have more to say, keep talking and we'll bill you for the extra airtime at the end of the month – how cool is that? You can also get free SMSs on selected packages.
This is what you get
You get to send 1000 Free SMSs every month to all networks anytime - worth R600pm. (on most packages) That's like typing out "Gone with the Wind" and forwarding it to all your friends.
Here's what we need from you:
- A copy of your ID. We won't laugh at the picture, promise.
- Your latest pay slip.
- Your latest 3 months' bank statements.
- Additional documents may be requested by our credit department – just a heads up.
- A debit order is part of the deal – no exceptions.
- We're going to need your green bar-coded ID book or Passport (not your Driver's License) and proof of your physical or postal address (like an account posted to you and depicting your postal or residential address) for RICA.

Topping up is as easy as falling out of a tree. (But a lot less painful)
- Pop into any one of our Virgin Mobile stores.
- You can top up using Cell Phone Banking or Online Banking or via any ATM.
- You can swipe your plastic.

- You can add it to your shopping list at Altech Autopage Cellular, Clicks, CNA, Dis-Chem Pharmacies, Edgars, Jet, Jetmart, Legit, Mr Price, Pep Stores, Pick 'n Pay, Shoprite Checkers, Spar, Woolworths, Ster Kinekor. You can also stock up on airtime at one of these banks: Absa, FNB, Nedbank and Standard Bank.
- Fill up on airtime at BP, Caltex, Engen Quickshop, Total, Sasol or Shell.
