Terms & conditions applicable to Bundles & Blackberry Plans

  • All prices stated for bundles include value added tax (VAT).
  • By purchasing bundles, you agree to be bound by our standard customer terms and conditions, which can be found on our Website.
  • Promotional Airtime cannot be used to purchase bundles.
  • Bundles bought on top of your rate plan do not contribute to any promotional offer. 
  • Bundles cannot be transferred from one Virgin Mobile customer to another. 
  • Your Bundle will be carried over should you migrate between different tariff plans
  • If any of the following things happen, and you have a bundle loaded onto your Mobile Device, any remaining unused balance on your bundle will be forfeited at the time the event happens: a. your Phone Number is deactivated for any reason b. You are a Top Up Customer or Prepay customer with a once-off bundle, and you migrate to a Contract; c. You are Contract Customer with a recurring bundle and you migrate to Prepay or Top Up. 
  • Definitions used in these bundle terms and conditions have the same meaning as ascribed to them in our standard customer terms and conditions.
  • We can change these bundle terms and conditions at any time, including the price of any bundle, or withdraw any bundle, at any time. If we do this, we will let you know by placing the amended version on our Website or by sending you an electronic message (including an SMS). 
  • For the purposes of these terms and conditions, a Contract Customer does not include a Top Up customers. 
  • SMS bundles cannot be used for Premium, International SMS, WASP services and other value added SMS or MMS services. The costs for the Messages will not be deducted from the SMS bundle and the respective normal or stated rates apply to these services.
  • BlackBerry® Plans (provide you access to the BlackBerry Tiered Services for a period of 7, 14 or 30 days (‘Access Period’).  
  • By using the BlackBerry Bundles, you agree to be bound by these BlackBerry Terms and Conditions and our BlackBerry Tiered Service Fair Use policy at all times.
  • The BlackBerry ® Plan subscription amount is for the BlackBerry Tiered Service only and cannot be used to make calls, send SMSs etc. You may not transfer any of your BlackBerry Internet Service fee or value to be used as airtime. 
  • The order to use the BlackBerry Tiered Services, you must have a Blackberry handset, and before subscribing to the BlackBerry Tiered Services, you must check that your handset supports the BlackBerry Tiered Service. Unfortunately, no reversals will be permitted. 
  • Each Blackberry plan has a Data Cap.  Data Cap refers to the monthly inclusive data allocation in accordance with the Blackberry Tiered Service Plan chosen by the customer.  If the customer exceed s the cap, they will be charged for usage of the BlackBerry Tiered Service Plans at the per megabyte rate relative to their current rate plan.
  • You may only use your BlackBerry Tiered Services in accordance with the BlackBerry Tiered Services Fair Use Policy and we reserve the right to limit your use of BlackBerry Tiered Services to the activities permitted in the BlackBerry Tiered Services Fair Use Policy. If you do or permit anything to be done which is not permitted in terms of the BlackBerry Tiered Services Fair Use Policy, we furthermore reserve the right to charge you at our prevailing data rates for such unpermitted usage and we reserve the right to limit your use of the BlackBerry Tiered Services, as more fully detailed in the BlackBerry Tiered Services Fair Use Policy. 
  • Software downloads are done at your own risk and we provide no guarantee in this regard. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage of any kind (including loss of information or data) suffered by yourself or any third party as a result of your downloading any software and you indemnify us in this regard.
  • All prices for Blackberry Bundles are only for national usage.  Customers can use BlackBerry Plans in all countries where Virgin Mobile offers data roaming, provided that you have activated your SIM card for international roaming, however all usage will be subject to international  roaming charges, over and above the price of the Bundle.  Before travelling overseas, please contact us to find out whether you will be able to roam in the country to which you are travelling.
