Setting up an email account

NOTE: This can only be done once your BlackBerry® Service has been activated on the SIM card

  • Open the Setup or Email Settings application.
  • Click Email Accounts, if required.
  • Click Add My Existing Email Account or Add, if required. Click an email account type, or click Other if required.
  • Type an email address and password, and click Next /Continue.
  • Click on Continue & Return to Setup . Then click on Mailbox.
  • Click on the activation Server Email you receive to confirm activation.

Adding an existing email address

  • When adding an existing email address to a profile, enter it in the top section of the page displayed. Enter the email address password, confirm it and click “Next”

Setting up a BlackBerry® Email account

  • To create a BlackBerry® email address, scroll down and select name@virginmobile.co.za below the “Create new account” option.
  • Enter a unique descriptive email prefix (username) and password for the BlackBerry® Email address.
  • Confirm the password, complete the secret question section and click “Next”.
