 Setting up an email account
NOTE: This can only be done once your BlackBerry® Service has been activated on the SIM card
- Open the Setup or Email Settings application.
- Click Email Accounts, if required.
- Click Add My Existing Email Account or Add, if required. Click an email account type, or click Other if required.
- Type an email address and password, and click Next /Continue.
- Click on Continue & Return to Setup . Then click on Mailbox.
- Click on the activation Server Email you receive to confirm activation.
Adding an existing email address
- When adding an existing email address to a profile, enter it in the top section of the page displayed. Enter the email address password, confirm it and click “Next”
Setting up a BlackBerry® Email account
- To create a BlackBerry® email address, scroll down and select name@virginmobile.co.za below the “Create new account” option.
- Enter a unique descriptive email prefix (username) and password for the BlackBerry® Email address.
- Confirm the password, complete the secret question section and click “Next”.
